The psychology of Despising
Today I sat next to a colleague who despises Modi. Although the actual reason of why he dislikes Modi has never been revealed to me, I have several theories. Primary among them is the fact that he is 'secular' (India Style Secular :- Where you hate one religion to the exclusion of all else!). However that is irrelevant.
What is relevant is that he does not like Modi. And by Modi I mean our honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Damodardas Modi. Not Lalit Modi or Nirav Modi.
Speaking of Nirav Modi, while my colleagues and I sat in the office cafeteria sipping coffee, the TV in the cafeteria was showing some breaking news...on NDTV! And the breaking news was about the arrest of jeweller turned thief Nirav Modi.
My colleague, the one who hates our PM (Let us call him A) said "this is just an election gimmick! Vijay Mallya has not only cheated banks, but he also cheated his employees!" Then turning to me he said "You tell me, of the two who is the greater villain??".
While I was still flabbergasted by his question, another colleague reminded A that Vijay Mallya will soon be extradited to India. At this revelation A was shocked and dumbstruck. He was searching for words and for what seemed like an eternity he seemed still as a Picture! Then slowly he recoered and muttered "If they have caught him, it is good then".
He then stared at the television for a some seconds. We all turned to look at the TV. It showed an image of Nirav Modi as he currently looks. He appeared to have more hair on his mustache and a partially trimmed beard than on his balding head. He looked like a real life version of Yosemite Sam. Then A suddenly blurted out in anger "He is really stupid I tell you!". "Excuse me?" I asked.
"This guy is really stupid. He knows the government is after him. Why should he appear in public?"
It almost appeared as though A was upset that Nirav Modi was caught. I silently laughed on the inside and continued sipping my coffee.
It all became clear. A despises PM Modi. Mallya and Nirav Modi running away from India and walking boldly in the streets of London gave him ammunition to attack our current government. He could say like Kejriwal "Sab mile jhule hain ji!". But sadly for A, it appeared as though he was running out of reasons to blame Modi. What abuses can he now hurl at BJP and the Prime Minister? Luckily for him a certain 'born with a silver spoon - drug addict- turned politician' regularly fligs outrageous allegations at PM Modi, in a last bid to dislodge an honest and hard working Prime Minister.
From 1947 to 2014 excluding the period when Shri Lal Bahaddur Shastri,PV Narasimha Rao and Atal Bihari Vajpayee were prime ministers, the country has experienced only corrupt governments who did not care two hoots about the people. It had also planted an ecosystem in place covering educational institutions, journalists and all key places of influence. These journalists, historians, bureaucrats, lawyers got heavy kickbacks for supporting the corrupt regime. Now this ecosystem has spread it's tentacles to support terrorists and anti nationals as well. Many a times, this group, which called itself 'secular' has derailed the country's progress. Now all the Mangy Mutts who are fed Dog Biscuits by their secular masters are worried sick as their lavish, lecherous and sinful lives are at stake. One more term of PM Modi might make life unlivable for them. Hence they are trying through their influence to spread lies on Mass Media, social media and any platform available. They are creating an atmosphere of fear amongst the minorities in India. They are dividing people of this great nation so that they could succeed in dismantling all the good work done by the current government.
However other than few people like A, who for whatever personal reasons do not like Shri Modiji, I see a second Modi Wave coming in 2019 and it will demolish the axis of evil formed by 20 and odd secular parties. This axis of evil is ready to sell the country to come to power. Such is their greed. However if God is merciful and he is, I know that this great nation and it's people have suffered immensely at the hands of foreign invaders, followed by the slaves of westernization and communism. I think it is high time that we shatter the bonds of mental slavery and allow PM Modi to take us to greater heights and make India a developed nation.
